The Evening Networking Program

This program is for executives and professionals with compensation levels (salary and bonus) of $100,000+.  The meeting provides a forum where executives can share job opportunities, market intelligence, job search “pearls of wisdom”, and build a new network oriented to teamwork and sharing. 

Our program includes three key components:

Round table questions and comments - this is your opportunity to get any question or concern about career transition and career development on the table for feedback from all.

Market intelligence - we share with you specific positions we've heard about and how to connect with the individuals recruiting into those positions.

Career transition assistance - we take a relevant topic each month and give you tips and techniques.

McCarthy & Company Meeting

The program is an evening venue that meets once a month, usually on the third Thursday, at the Tower Club in Tysons Corner, Virginia.  Meetings begin at 6:00 pm with introductions and networking. Attendees will than share their 30-45 second commercials. The commercials should incorporate four key pieces: who you are, your expertise, what you need in the way of help, and, very importantly, how you can help the group.  The facilitator will also use this time to discuss key job search “pearls of wisdom” and market intelligence that may be relevant to the evening’s topic and the discussion at hand.  At 8:30 pm the meeting is concluded allowing time for participants to do follow-up networking until 9:00 pm.

To prepare for the meeting, please bring 20 copies of your one-page resume. Your “one pager” should be a synopsis of your resume including header, career summary, possibly a profile, business experience (any detail beyond organization, title and time period is not required), education, and importantly “Target Positions” and “Target Organizations”; these two items are extremely valuable as they create a basis for discussion for all participants.  Also have your 30 – 45 second “commercial” prepared to share, and very importantly, be prepared to tell the group how you can help them in their job search. Dress is business.

The Tower Club is located on the 17th floor of the Towers Crescent Building. The Club's address is Suite 1700, 8000 Towers Crescent Drive, Vienna, VA. The building does have garage parking for a fee.

ExecuNet members as well as non-members are welcome. The meeting includes hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

The fee if paid at the door is $50 for ExecuNet members and $55 for non-members. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Save by registering and paying in advance - $40 for ExecuNet members and $45 for non-members and payments confirming reservations must be received by the Monday before the meeting. 

Bring a friend discount – $55 for two attendees – both must have registered & paid in advance of the meeting.

Should you need to cancel your reservation, we ask that you kindly give us 3 days notice.
